Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. Service
Durbl provides a memory-native data engine as a cloud service ("Durbl Cloud") and as source-available software for self-hosting ("Durbl Engine").
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and account credentials.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Durbl for any illegal activity, to store content that violates applicable laws, or to attempt to reverse-engineer the proprietary components of Durbl Cloud.
4. Data Ownership
You own your data. Durbl does not claim ownership over any content you store in the engine. We do not access your stored memories or application data except as necessary for technical support at your request.
5. Source-Available License
The Durbl core engine is available under the Business Source License (BSL). You may use it for internal purposes. You may not offer it as a competing hosted service without a commercial license.
6. Availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime for paid plans. The Free plan is provided without an uptime guarantee.
7. Limitation of Liability
Durbl is provided "as is." We are not liable for data loss, business interruption, or indirect damages arising from use of the service.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to active account holders.
